3月19日讯 已于近日抵沪的CBA上海队外援莫泰尤纳斯接受美国媒体的电话采访时表示，上海如今的情况比他离开时要好上一百倍。
“球队邀请我回来，现在欧洲很多人倒下了，情况很不好。我回来后，看看中国，看起来一切都复苏了，生活又回到了正轨。”莫泰如是说。
莫泰在接受采访时表示，自己正在进行为期十四天的隔离，目前已经进行了三天。
“中国政府在应对疫情方面做了很棒的工作，在我看来，我现在所看到的和我离开中国时所看到的，有着白天与黑夜的差别。”
“我的国家（立陶宛）也开始对全国进行封锁，不让人们离开。我在最后时刻回到了中国，当我离开中国的时候，上海看起来像个‘死城’（dead city)，如今的情况好太多了，限制越来越少，人们开始复工，就像我说的，情况比我两个月前离开时，好了一百倍。”莫泰补充道。
本赛季至今，莫泰为上海队出战28场比赛，场均贡献22.8分15.1篮板3.5助攻1.8抢断，其中场均篮板数为联盟第一。
