直播吧3月20日讯 日本奥委会理事山口香近日称东京奥运会应该延期举办，日本奥委会主席山下泰裕则表示对于这样的想法和声音感到遗憾。
山口香接受《朝日新闻》采访时这样说道：“在运动员无法充分训练的情况下举办奥运会，并不符合‘运动员优先’原则，东京奥运会应该推迟举办。在人们都无法正常生活的情况下，有谁会为7月份举办奥运会而感到高兴呢？”
“抗击新冠肺炎疫情就像是一场战争，但是现在形成了一种即使知道日本会输也无法提出反对举办奥运会的气氛。日本奥委会和运动员们在这种氛围下都无法发出延期奥运的声音。”
不过日本奥委会主席山下泰裕则对延期举办奥运会的想法并不认同，他表示对于日本奥委会内部出现有推迟举办奥运会的声音而感到非常遗憾。
