3月22日讯 据NBC记者Minyvonne Burke报道，据澳卫生部官员称，数人在澳大利亚斯坦维尔山参加完婚礼(3月6日)后新冠检测呈阳性。
当地时间周一，新南威尔斯州首席卫生官Dr. Kerry Chant表示，在Tumbling Waters Retreat举行的婚礼中有6名来客感染了病毒。
截至周五，感染人数已经上升到31人，据报道，其中一人为参议员安德鲁-布拉格。
新娘Emma Metcalf近日在社交媒体上表示，得知婚礼来客中有人感染新冠病毒的消息时，她和丈夫正在马尔代夫度蜜月，而她们举办婚礼时澳大利亚还没有宣布任何交通管制或不允许聚会的通知。
同时Emma Metcalf也表示，宾客中感染人数已经来到37人，如果当时知道现在这些情况，他们是绝对不会让人们来冒这个险的，其中一些感染者是老年人或者漂洋过海来参加婚礼的人。
据澳洲新快报报道称，婚礼来宾确诊人数飙升的原因是有来自美国的客人感染了新冠病毒。目前这对夫妇已经回到澳洲隔离并进行了检测，现等待检测结果。
