6月24日讯 2022年NBA选秀大会，魔术用状元签选中杜克大学前锋保罗-班凯罗。
班凯罗在接受媒体采访时说道：“我甚至不知道该说些什么。老实说，我不敢相信刚刚发生的事。”
另外，班凯罗也谈到了恩师K教练：“他是我遇到过的最棒教练。”
班凯罗今年11月将年满20岁，身高2米08，体重113公斤。2021-22赛季，班凯罗出战39场比赛，场均能够得到17.2分7.8篮板3.2助攻1.1抢断0.9盖帽，投篮命中率47.8%，三分命中率33.8%，罚球命中率72.9%。
