4月13日讯 今日，据选秀网站247报道，肯塔基后卫谢顿-夏普预计参加今年选秀，保留返校资格——但大部分球探认为夏普会留在选秀中，因为基本没有人可以拒绝前十顺位。
夏普原本是2022届五星高中生，但在去年拿到了足够的学分，提前完成高中学业，提早半年进入肯塔基大学，不过在夏普父母和肯塔基主教练卡利帕里进行交谈后，大家一致决定夏普在2021-22赛季不会为肯塔基效力，因此他目前没有任何NCAA赛场的数据。
夏普将在今年5月30号年满19岁，原本将参加2023年选秀，在提前进入NCAA后被裁定有资格参加今年选秀。
夏普目前18岁，身高1.96米，体重88公斤，是今年前十顺位的热门人选，模板为布拉德利-比尔，肯塔基主教练卡利帕里称他为“超级天才”。
