《mmmEnglish》讲师 Emma 在 Youtube 上面列举了 8种容易混淆的字，一起来看看它们的中文意思及用法吧！
1. aloud vs. allowedex. I’m speaking aloud right now!
我现在正大声说话！
ex. Read that paragraph aloud so that the rest of the class can hear you!
大声朗读这段，这样班上的其他人才能听到你的声音！
ex. You are allowed to bring a small bag with you.
你可以携带一个小包。
ex. You are not allowed to wear shoes inside the house.
你不许在屋内穿鞋。
2. plement vs. plimentex. That hat really plements the dress you’re wearing. They look good together.
那帽子真的衬托出你今天穿的洋装，它们看起来很搭。
ex. What type of cheese is this ? It really plements the favors in the fruit.
这是哪种奶酪？搭配水果真的好加分。
ex. We chose plants that would plement each other. They really suit each other.
我们选择了植物补足彼此，它们真的很适合。
ex. I want to pliment you on your performance, you did a really good job.

ex. I don’t take pliments very well. I get really shy and embarrassed and try to change the subject.
