据报道，鲍尔默集团已承诺拿出逾2500万美元的捐款，以帮助西雅图、密歇根州东南部和洛杉矶抗击新冠疫情。
鲍尔默集团表示，会在捐款中拿出1000万美元给华盛顿医科大学(Univ. of Washington Medicine)的应急基金，以帮助他们加快对新冠病毒疫苗的研发。
据此前报道，鲍尔默已向洛杉矶的社区捐款100万美元，帮助抗疫。
