4月5日讯 据意大利《晚邮报》报道，当地时间4日，意大利总理孔特的一名警卫人员由于感染新冠肺炎不治身亡。
报道称，这名52岁的副警长名叫瓜斯塔马基亚，生前长期担任总理警卫。他在12天前确诊感染新冠肺炎后被送往罗马一家医院接受治疗，随后病情迅速恶化转入重症监护，医院在使用体外膜肺氧合后仍未能挽救其生命。
据了解，总理孔特已经接受了新冠病毒核酸检测，结果为阴性。这名警卫人员在确诊前两周时间内都没有与总理有过直接接触。
当晚，孔特在社交媒体上发文对瓜斯塔马基亚的去世表示哀悼。意大利三任前总理真蒂洛尼、莱塔和伦齐也通过社交媒体怀念这位他们熟识的警卫人员。
