3月26日讯 NCAA甜蜜16强第二个比赛日，圣彼得大学67-64击败3号种子普度大学，晋级精英八强。
值得一提的是，圣彼得大学是这次锦标赛的第60号种子（也就是倒数第9），也是东区的第15号种子，他们先在首轮淘汰了夺冠热门肯塔基大学，然后又战胜7号种子穆雷州立大学。
