若纳塔斯说：“我开始时有些发烧，感觉非常不舒服，我以为只是偏头痛，因为我的头真的很痛，但同时浑身都有点不舒服。他们告诉我要抓紧去进行检测，因为这些都是感染新冠病毒的症状，随后我去进行了检测，结果呈阳性。”
“我无法进行训练，因为我的身体很虚弱，尤其是在前三天，我吃了很多苦，浑身一点力气都没有。我去洗澡的时候，差点在浴室里晕过去。那是一种非常强烈的痛苦，我从未遭受过，此次疫情绝非儿戏。”
“作为一名足球运动员，我尚且经历了这么多痛苦，所以想象一下老年人会有多么痛苦。这就是为什么我们在巴西必须考虑更多些，因为有些人没有意识到这种病毒的严重性。”
